Executive Villa with Pool and Spa
Our villa is situated on the outer perimeter of Glenbrook resort which provides a semi private pool and spa, facing east. It is fully air conditioned. The main living area is open plan. Entering through the front door you are greeted with a tiled entrance opening on to a lounge and small dining area (a table with seating for four). One of the sofas also opens up into a double bed. This area could be used as a quiet little haven to relax while others are enjoying the rest of the villa and pool.
You then move through to the main living area which starts with the fully equipped Kitchen and breakfast bar. This includes a fridge/freezer with ice making compartment, dishwasher and stove. The cupboards and drawers comprise a full range of utensils, crockery and cutlery. There is also additional cupboard space for guests use. A private locked cupboard tucks snuggly into the corner for keeping our own personal items.
The kitchen opens to the Dining area where there is a table and six chairs. This extends to the lounge with comfortable seating for eight. A cabinet contains the television, dvd and vcr deck, as well as an assortment of books and board games.
The lounge opens on to the pool area through patio doors. The decking area is complete with poolside chairs, loungers and table with parasol. The pool measures 13 x 26 feet with a depth ranging from 3 feet to 6 feet. A jetted spa is situated at one end, joining the pool with a waterfall feature.
Adjoining the lounge is the master bedroom with kingsize bed and walk in wardrobe, chest of drawers and television. Patio doors lead to the pool. The en suite comprises shower, bath and double sink vanity unit. A door leads to the pool.
From the kitchen a corridor leads to the house bathroom with shower and vanity unit. This is followed by two twin bedded rooms with fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers, bed side cabinets and televisions. At the end of the corridor is the second master bedroom with queen size bed, walk in wardrobe, chest of drawers, television and bed side cabinets. The wardrobe contains a safe. An en suite is furnished with shower, bath and vanity unit.
Another door leads from the kitchen to the utility room, complete with washer, dryer, iron and ironing board. From here is an internal door to the double garage.
Telephones are located in the kitchen and both master bedrooms.
On an evening you can enjoy the fireworks at Disney, some miles away, while relaxing in the lounge or around the pool.
A short walk from our villa is the Glenbrook Community Centre which is available to all our guests. This has a gym, lounge with large screen television and free internet access. There is also a games room. Outside is a large swimming pool with sundeck area, tennis and volleyball courts. This centre has a receptionist on duty 7 days a week.
The local Walmart is only 2 miles away and there are many shops and restaurants in the vicinity.
We are only a 10 minute drive to Animal Kingdom which is just the start of a magical drive to all other Disney theme parks. There is an array of restaurants and shops within easy reach as well as many golf courses. Information on many of these is available either in our villa or the Community Centre.
If you want a change from Disney there is Lake Louisa State Park, only 7 miles north on hwy. 27. This has a lake with sandy beaches, walking and cycle trails. A modest entry fee is charged per vehicle and you are free to come and go all day.
